If you've ever experienced a big concert ticket sale, you know that membership presales are often the most stressful... but also the ones that offer the most chances.
Personally, after experiencing the membership sales for ATEEZ in October 2024, I can tell you one thing: the better you understand how it works, the less you panic on D-day.
With the highly anticipated return of BTS, many are asking the same question:
How will the BTS membership presales work?
Here's a clear recap, based on what we've seen recently during major international sales and on the usual functioning of Weverse + Ticketmaster.
⚠️ Important: here, we are talking only about membership presales, not general sales.
How BTS Membership Presales Generally Work
First thing to understand: your Weverse account will be central.
In most cases:
- the email used on Weverse must be exactly the same as the one on your Ticketmaster account
- this email will be used to access the waiting queues
- this link between accounts will also verify your eligibility for the presale

So no, you're not missing out if you don't have your code in front of you from the start... breathe 😅
Waiting Queues: How it Works by City
Let's imagine a very concrete case.
You choose:
- Paris
- Brussels
- London
With 2 dates per city.
➡️ You will therefore be able to enter 6 different waiting queues, with only one Weverse account.
Each queue is independent:
- Ticketmaster France ≠ UK ≠ Belgium
- Each queue will have its own position number
- Being well placed in one queue guarantees nothing in another
Why do some people take multiple BTS memberships?
This is where many fans start to optimize their chances.
Let's take Paris as an example:
- 2 dates = 2 waiting queues per membership
- if you have 3 memberships, you can enter 6 waiting queues for Paris
➡️ More memberships = more queues = more chances.
⚠️ Be careful though:
- it represents a cost
- and it requires real organization on D-day
Beware of Protections (IP, security, etc.)
This is the vaguest point for now.
On some recent sales:
- Bruno Mars → little or no IP control
- Taylor Swift → stricter protections
For BTS, it's impossible to confirm in advance:
- they might allow several queues from the same IP
- or activate enhanced protections
My advice:
Prepare just in case, but don't panic beforehand. We'll really know on D-day.
How many tickets can be purchased?
The limit is set at 4 tickets per concert.
Concretely, that means:
- 4 tickets maximum per date and per concert
- regardless of the city
- regardless of whether you use one or more memberships
Example:
- Paris – July 17 → 4 tickets max
- Paris – July 18 → 4 tickets max
- London – July 6 → 4 tickets max
Each concert is therefore counted independently.
This rule helps prevent abuse and gives more chances to a greater number of fans, even if, obviously, it makes the sale even more competitive.
➡️ Important point to remember: there's no point trying to bypass this limit; it will be strictly enforced by Ticketmaster.
Waiting Queue Times: No Need to Arrive 4 Hours Early
Very important information for your mental stress 😌
The waiting queue will open from 2:57 PM, so connect a little in advance
No need to:
- stay connected since dawn
- refresh for hours
Validation with your Membership Code
To access the membership presale, a validation step will be necessary.
- you will simply need to use the membership code you received when you purchased your membership
- this code will be required to unlock ticket access, once you've passed the waiting queue
My advice:
Prepare your membership code in advance and check that you have access to the email linked to your Weverse and Ticketmaster accounts, to avoid any panic on D-day.
How to Prepare Well Before BTS Presales
The BTS membership presales will definitely be intense. But the more you understand how it works, the more you limit errors and stress.
